India is approaching 2026, and its solar energy sector is rapidly expanding, fueled by government initiatives and supportive policies. Key programs, such as PM Surya Ghar, which aims to achieve 10 million rooftop solar installations and the accomplishment of over 75 GW of installed solar capacity, have strengthened India’s solar value chain and marked significant progress toward the country’s national renewable energy goals. Rooftop installations are expected to double to 4 million by March 2026, enhancing energy security and advancing national renewable energy targets.
