STAGES OF INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF A SOLAR POWER PLANT PROJECT

1:- Collection of all Engineering Drawings, Site Survey Reports and List of Equipment to be installed.
2:- Selecting a Storage Space at the site for the Project.
3:- Selection of Local Contractors for both Skilled and Un-skilled works to be done
4:- Creating a Chart of execution in conjunction with all the Stakeholders
5:- Understanding the Important Milestones which would be acceptable to all the Stakeholders.
6:- Depending upon the type of plant, rooftop, Tin-shade or Ground-mounted – the suitable arrangement is made for the installation of Structures
7:- The installation of Earthing system may be taken up simultaneously
8:- Once the Module Mounting structures and in place, the Solar Modules are Fixed.
9:- DC Cabling now is the most crucial work to be accomplished.
10:- The ACDB, AJB, etc. are now taken up.
11:- Solar Inverters may be installed parallelly
12:- The DC cables are terminated in the inverters. Thus the DC side of the Plant is completed after testing
13:- Now it’s the time for Ac Cabling work up to the ACDB
14:- Now the Discom shall be called for connection in the grid and net metering
15:- A few additional works are taken like WMS, RMS, SCADA and LA
16:- Finally the site is handed over to the authority
